网络游戏环境中基于媒介依赖理论的实证研究

【摘要】本文试图通过对大学生游戏玩家的抽样调查来解决在网络游戏环境中媒介依赖理论的经典解释能否得到验证的问题,并进一步解释为何网络游戏对玩家具有较大的吸引力。研究发现在网络游戏环境中,不同需求的满足、环境压力、可选择媒介与媒介依赖度之间确实都具有一定相关性,媒介依赖理论再次得到验证。同时发现对网络游戏依赖度有正向影响的有深层刺激需求、团体归属与其他需求还有交往需求,而不是休闲娱乐需求或和逃避刺激需求。

Abstractthis article tries to solve the problem whether the media dependency theory fit the environment of online games by a survey giving to college students and give a further explanation to why online games is attractive to the game players. The results shows that there are some notable correlation exists between the satisfaction to the needs ,the pressures ,the optional media and media dependency , the media dependency theory have been validated again. At the same time the results shows that there is a notable positive correlation between the deep needs the needs of group reliance and communication but needs for entertainment or needs for avoiding pressure.
